Playful Paws Pet Lodge is dedicated to providing your furry friend the top level of care in each and every service we provide.
Safe & Comfortable:
We understand that pets are family. That's why we take the time to get to know each guest's personality, routines, and individual needs so we can provide the highest standard of care possible.
We are dedicated to ensuring your dog is relaxed and happy during their stay with us.
Our lovely rural country property has plenty of space to run and have lots of doggie fun!
Structured daily routine:
Each day we encourage play time in our fully secured grass areas with other dogs of similar temperament and size. While giving them the choice to rest as much as they like with plenty of outdoor/indoor space.
All with full supervision from our experienced kennel staff members.
Kennels are cleaned every day, beds are aired to be fresh for the night.
What is included in the dogs stay:

Our focus is to provide the dogs with at least 7 to 8 hours out of their kennel a day.

We serve breakfast & dinner plus tux biscuits at lunch and a yummy treat at bedtime. (You are welcome to provide your own dog food if preferred)

Enrichment activities and toys, such as Kongs, licks mats, balls & tug ropes.

Bedding is provided, though we do recommend bringing something home with familiar smells

Daily photos to our Facebook and Instagram page and a text or email at least once throughout the dogs stay to update you on how they are doing

Receive cuddles and attention from our team, we aim to make every stay a positive experience.

Coats/jackets for the colder nights/mornings

A radio plays through the day to create a homely background sound.
Convenient Location:
Our dog boarding kennels are super convenient for your holiday drop off and pick up. We are located just a few minutes off State Highway 25 at Turua, near Thames. We're easy to find if you're coming from Auckland, Waihi, Paeroa, Te Aroha, Tauranga, Ngatea, Hamilton and the Coromandel Peninsula, or if you're heading anywhere north.
Plus we can care for your cat/s at the same time in our cosy cattery!
